Why the Need for this Bible? Today, there are more than 100 English versions of the Tanakh (Old Testament) that have been translated from the original Hebrew Bible. Trying to understand the differences between them is a study all its own.So why do we believe another version is needed? Nearly all Christian bibles are translated from either a Christian bias (trying to import the New Testament ideologies and Jesus into the Hebrew Bible), or the Jewish English Bibles minimalize Messianic passages (trying to keep the Messiah out).Bias is a hazard when approaching Bible Translation. It is such a minefield that Dr. Philip Noss, a Consultant with the American Bible society gave this warning.“Bible translation is never innocent. There is always motivation for translation, and inevitably there are implications and consequences to the act of translation.” Our motivation for producing the Messianic Prophecy Bible is not theologically biased. Our translators are working to produce a text that is as close to the most ancient manuscripts as possible; while maintaining the meanings of phrases and their nuances during the time they were written. Our desire is to help both Jewish and Christian readers understand the text better, not only through the translation, and also through notes. The foot notes will help readers understand where there are difficulties of translation and why. It will also give alternative translations of particularly difficult verses and passages. This will give the reader the ability to see various viewpoints and come to their own conclusions. The coming of the Messiah is central to both Judaism and Christianity. There are numerous passages that are considered Messianic by both Judaism and Christianity. We will present both Jewish and Christian interpretations of these Messianic Scriptures. This Bible will help all readers understand that there are various ways to view these Messianic passages. They will be presented as a discussion, not as a debate. It is important to learn how others see Messianic prophecy from their respective viewpoints and in their own words. To achieve this, we are having both Jewish scholars and Rabbis working alongside Christian/Messianic scholars to present the understanding of the Prophecies from within their own communities. Each Messianic Prophecy will be explained with commentary from both viewpoints. Reserve your Free Bible Next >

Ever uttered, and then died for the sins of the people, all before AD 70: Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of Mary.Couldn’t Jesus have “accidentally” fulfilled all the dozens of prophecies? No. The scientific probability that any one person could fulfill just eight of these prophecies is 1 in 1017.Now let’s try to imagine the likelihood of that. If we took that number of silver dollars (100,000,000,000,000,000), drew a black X on only one, and laid them over the state of Texas, they would cover the entire state two feet deep. Now blindfold a man and tell him to travel as far as he wishes and then pick up only one silver dollar, and it must be the marked one. What chance would he have of picking up the right one? It would be exactly the same odds that just eight of the messianic prophecies would all come true in any one person—yet they all came true in Christ (adapted from Science Speaks by Peter Stoner).Even one real case of fulfilled prophecy would be sufficient to establish the Bible’s supernatural origin. But in all, there are over three hundred prophecies that tell of the ancestry, birth, life, ministry, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus of Nazareth. All have been literally fulfilled to the smallest detail.Over 25 percent of the entire Bible contains specific predictive prophecies that have been literally fulfilled. This is true of no other book in the world. And it is a sure sign of its divine origin. What Does All This Mean? Here is the incredible implication. If God did write the Bible through the pens of men (see 2 Timothy 3:16), then its terrible warning of Hell and incredible promise of Heaven are therefore true and need to be heeded. How then can a person find everlasting. The narrative comes alive in the vivid, in-the-moment drama of the pages within this Good Book. Even the tenses of Greek verbs come alive in English when the historic presents are translated in present time. As we grasp hold of it and hold it tight (Proverbs 3:18), we can appropriate His story for our own lives.Imitation LeatherPublished January 1, 20202 people are currently readingAbout the authorRatings & ReviewsFriends & Following Community ReviewsDisplaying 1 - 2 of 2 reviews35 reviewsNovember 3, 2024Fantastic translation that puts the Hebrew Bible in Tanakh order (I don’t know if any else that do the same with a New Testament). The whole book of Psalms has been divided into five books or sections (Ps. 3-41; Ps. 42-72; Ps. 73-89; Ps. 90-106, and 107-145). The reason for these divisions is that each section has a final poem, which concludes with a similar line that looks like an editorial addition, “May the Lord, the God of Israel, be blessed forever. Amen and Amen” (Ps. 41:13; Ps. 72:19; Ps. 89:52, and 106:48).Psalms 1-2: Introduction to the Key Themes of PsalmsThe book has a conclusion and an internal organization of five sections. Psalms 1 and 2 serve as the book’s introduction. These psalms clearly stand apart from the rest of Book One based on their authorship. They are anonymous, while the majority of psalms in the first book are linked to King David. Their content is also unique. Psalm 1 starts by celebrating the person who is “blessed” because they meditate on the Torah, prayerfully reading and obeying it. The Hebrew word torah simply means “teaching,” but it also refers to the first five books of the Bible that contain the foundational laws of Judaism. It seems that the word has both of these meanings in Psalm 1. The book of Psalms is being offered as a new Torah that will teach God’s people about the lifelong practice of prayer as they strive to obey the commands of the first Torah.Psalm 2 is a poetic reflection on God’s promise to King David, recounted in 2 Samuel 7. God told David that from his line would come a messianic (that is, “anointed”) King, who would establish God’s Kingdom over the world, defeating evil and rebellion among the nations. The psalm concludes by saying that all those to take refuge in this messianic king will be “blessed,” the same word used in the opening of Psalm 1.Together, these two poems tell us that the book of Psalms is designed to be the prayer book of God’s people, who are striving to be faithful to the commands of the Torah and hoping and waiting for the messianic kingdom.Psalms 3-41: The Foundation of Covenant FaithfulnessWith these themes introduced, we can begin to see intentionality in how the smaller books have been designed around the same ideas. For example, Book One contains a collection of poems (Ps. 15-24) that opens and closes with a call to covenant faithfulness. The opening Psalm 15 is followed by three poems (Ps. 16-18). 2025-04-01Global RevivalMessianic Apostolic PropheticRestoring the Jewish Foundations of FaithShop Study MaterialsBooks, e-Books, Workbooks & more…100+Lessons with quizzesShalom, Dearly Beloved!I invite you to be spiritually hungry for truth and embark on a journey of life-changing discovery! It is time to equip a new brand of leaders and believers in the Body of the Messiah. Traditional Bible Schools do not have the answer because they are sorely lacking in the area of Church History — The Jewish Roots of the Faith and Israel. Most Bible Schools teach a mixture of Replacement Theology along with the Word. The End-Time MAP (Messianic-Apostolic-Prophetic) leaders will have none of the hang-ups of Replacement Theology and will know that they are grafted into the Olive Tree with Israel. They will be leaders that will know the Gospel as preached by the Jewish Messiah Himself and His first Jewish Apostles, with signs, wonders and miracles following. During these trying times of storms and shakings, the “cheap grace gospel” has no solid answers! We must repent and be restored to the Fear of YAH, (God) in the same way the Early Church experienced when they walked in much Glory and authority. It is time for a Church with the likeness of Esther, Ruth, and Cornelius to arise and to be a blessing to Israel, using the Key of Abraham (Genesis 12:3) to open entire nations for revival! Are you ready to flow into the MAP Revolution?
