I know there are various plugins availabe for controlling Winamp remotely. But if you was trying to play a file on the remote PC from say your office you would not hear anything.I was wondering if there is a way to not only completely run Winamp from a remote connection on the internet. But also for the remote PC to stream and transcode from any format supported bu the input dll's to MP3 128k for instance and stream it to another instance of Winamp running on the local PC. It would be nice to have it running with a password protection to prevent others from accessing your PC. But basically it would be like having your entire MP3 collection play on Winamp and stream it to the local Winamp no matter what PC you are at.Is there anything 'free' out there that does something similar and is easy to setup?
