Member Joined 2011 --> So basically when i launch the game and move my cursor, cursor fades out and comes back really fast, this also causes my frames to drop depending on the speed that i move my cursor, it's really annoying to play with. Somebody also had this problem like 2 years ago but the solutions that players gave him didn't work for me, only time it fixes it for a small time is when i restart my pc. I have over 200 fps on max settings but when i move my cursor really fast game drops to literal 2 fps. Member Joined 2019 --> Ye, I have the same problem, I posted my problem on here like 2 days ago but I still got no answers on how to fix it. The only way you can prevent that from happening is by disabling ''Hardware cursor'' in the video settings. I did that but I just cant play without that thing being enabled cuz it makes my cursor movement kinda **** tbh. Member Joined 2020 --> The same issue is happening to me since Monday. The cursor flickers whenever I move it, and when I click the cursor resets to the middle of the screen. When this issue happens I get horrible FPS as well, where I could maintain 90-100 FPS on Dalaran, yesterday I was under 40 while looking up. Also the game keeps stuttering, which is even worse for the framerate.I remember people talking on my raid group about some Windows Updates that might be causing it, or an upgraded WoW.exe file that is 64-bit compatible and avoids this issue from happening, will get more info on that and let you know. Forum Veteran Joined 2010 --> It looks like a problem with a recent update of the nVidia drivers. Member Joined 2018 --> Same issue here, would a solution be to rollback nvidia drivers? Member Joined 2016 --> Same problem here. Cursor flickering and cursor movement causing drastic fps drops. I really think this is caused by the latest Nvidia driver since I did not experience any

Last year, I had this same problem, and it's happened again. I tried all the things i did before, to no avail.I can't get the cursor to load on placed text. I'm placing a docx file, and I've done this a hundred times with no problem. What could possibly keep the cursor from loading?ID CC, Windows 10.HERE'S WHAT I POSTED LAST TIME:UPDATE: I tried this with an .rtf version of the file, the cursor loaded, but the text frames were not automatically created as usual. And there is no overset text indicated by a red X. When i click on that spot anyway, the cursor loads again, but shift-clicking onto the second page has the same result. It's like autoflow is turned off.okay, in case this helps anyone else, i got everything to work. Here are my notes:Malwarebytes was apparently locking the file. (I was so mad, I got rid of it, cancelled my subscription--no one should be able to lock you out of your own files).i did go to properties for my publishing folder and did the right click TAKE OWNERSHIP for all of them. Don't know if that mattered. When i opened the docx file in WPS writer, error message said the file was locked by another program. These files are compiled from Scrivener. I tried recompiling in both formats, with the same result--file was locked in WPS, and also couldn't load the cursor and place in ID.I pulled up scrivener file for a different book to test it, compiled to docx, created fresh ebook file from default, and placed, and it worked. So, i figured there was some sort of corruption in the file I had trouble with.I don't know what was MB and what was maybe a corrupt scriv file. (it was fine a few days ago). After all that, I finally decided to find the epub file (which was the one used for previous publishing), loaded the epub version into calibre, converted it to docx, and when i placed that in indesign it worked, and also did the autoflow.======So...Weirdly, this has happened again. Issues before the latest driver. Tried nvidia driver rollback, but did not solve the problem. Member Joined 2020 --> So, from what I could test, nVidia drivers rollback also didn't fix the issue, nor patching the WoW.exe file to use more than 2GBs of RAM.The only solution so far I could find is to deactivate "Hardware cursor" under Video Options. It stops the flickering but also makes the cursor feel weird, I don't know how to explain but you will understand if you try it.Will keep looking and let you know. Member Joined 2017 --> Fix? Did you guys find a fix to this issue? I'm having the same issue Member Joined 2019 --> Did you guys find a fix to this issue? I'm having the same issue As I was the 1st one to reply to the original ticket, I've been having the same problems since. The only thing you can do to stop it is to disable the ''Hardware Cursor'' in the video settings. But it just makes your cursor movement kinda weird, so I leave that thing on. The thing I do when I experience it after some playing is to shut down and then start up my pc again, and it just works normal, but again after some time you'll experience the stuttering and fps drops again.I hope I helped somehow! Member Joined 2011 --> I've had this issue for the past month, and I think i've fixed it.1. Go to your NVIDIA Control Panel2. Mange 3D Settings3. Go to Global Settings, scroll down and enable Vertical Sync to ON.4. Then go ingame and enable VsyncI hope that helps. Recently during Comprehensive Database Performance Health Check, to test our unique fix, we had to run a stress test on my customer’s development environment. Once we were done testing our script, we did not need our stress test queries to run on our server. Even though we stopped to run the batch file with stress test queries, there were few long-running queries kept on running on the server. This brought us to a very interesting point where we had to kill all the processes for one particular database. The DBA, I was working with during the consultation, immediately jumped and said he has a script written by me which he can run immediately and kill all the processes on the database. He showed me script from this blog post: SQL Server – Cursor to Kill All Process in Database. It was a great moment for me as DBA was showing me a script which I had written nearly 12 years ago.Though my earlier script just works fine. However, nowadays, I prefer following script to run when I have to kill all the processes for any particular database.ALTER DATABASE YourDatabaseName SET SINGLE_USER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE;ALTER DATABASE YourDatabaseName set MULTI_USER;There are many different reasons, I prefer to script listed above over the cursor. When we run script listed above it is almost instant whereas the cursor is quite slow compared to the previous scripts. Additionally, when there are hundreds of the threads to kill by the cursor, it is quite possible by the time cursor is done with the first list, there are few more threads have opened and you may have to run your cursor again.Remember, when you run above command it will rollback your uncomplete transactions. It is recommended that you do not run that on a production server without proper guidance.Reference: Pinal Dave ( Posts. Where did my mouse cursor go? The mouse cursor seems to randomly disappear.
