However, next time I log into Paypal, I am again asked to secure the password and its logged again into the credentials box. I should only be asked once, correct? My understanding is that once the credentials are saved, it only prompts you again if you enter that same password into another web site, to prevent a phishing exploit? I'm relieved to say that I've resolved the problems with SOL I've posted in this thread. The culprit turned out to be Sandboxie (specifically, its background service element) causing all three browsers on my system to crash on opening while SOL was enabled.Removing Sandboxie has completely solved this. Why this should suddenly have started happening after a year of running the two progs together is anyone's guess. That's computers for you! I had this issue when using the default skin. I have referred the matter to their abuse section and piracy section but am yet to receive an acknowledgement. The brief story is that back in June2020 I was having issues with Acrobat 9 when I upgraded to Windows 10. I logged into my account and started a "chat". The culmination being that I purchased a copy of Acrobat DC 2015. I paid for it under the representative instructions through PayPal. I was given a download link and serial number and the software was installed. Recently I had a HDD crash and replaced it. When I went to reinstall I got a message that the serial number was non genuine, subsequent emails even claimed that the software was a pirate copy. The download link and serial number are still on my products page. I provided Adobe with the official receipt showing the serial number and acknowledging payment of $69.99 USD. They still claim that the serial number is non genuine and it will not be replaced. I have subsequently provided then with the a copy of the paypal email confirming the date, amount and name of the the recipient (as the chat room header states the Representatives will tell you how to transfer funds securely)At the end of the day I paid an Adobe employee, through their secure portal for software which they have now revokedAdobe needs to either provide me with the software I paid for or give me a refund, and action should be taken against the employee concerned
