Assume that there is an organization structure, Whale elementary school/Fifth grade/Class 1. If you add bookmarks A and B to Whale elementary school as a policy, they are added to Fifth grade and Class 1 as well. You can see the option, Apply Whale elementary school policies in the bookmark settings of the two organizations. This means that the bookmark settings of the parent organization, Whale elementary school, also apply to its child organizations, Fifth grade and Class 1. In this case, if the policies of Whale elementary school change—for example, a bookmark C is added, the changed policies automatically apply to its child organizations.What happens if Fifth grade changes the bookmark settings inherited from Whale elementary school, by deleting A, B, and C and adding D, F and G? You can see that the bookmark option is changed to Apply additional policies. Then, different bookmark settings apply to the two organizations. From now on, changes made to the bookmark settings of Whale elementary school do not affect Fifth grade. And the bookmark settings of Fifth grade is still inherited to Class 1. It is because Fifth grade is a closer parent organization to Class 1 than Whale elementary school.
