A fast, lightweight color picker app allows you to grab the color of any pixel on your screen. This color picker is great for both choosing the right color for your needs, and also converting the selected color value between RGB (red, green, blue), Hex (Hexadecimal), HSV (hue, saturation, value/brightness) and HSL (hue, saturation, lightness). You can also manually enter the RGB (red green blue) values into the color picker fields and the color will display for you. If you know the Hue, saturation or luminosity that you want, you can manually enter these values into the color picker dialog box to immediately preview the color and see the corresponding values. The HEX, RGB, HSV and HSL values for your color will automatically load into the details panel as you preview the color choices in the picker. Once the desired color is visible in the preview field, just click ok to confirm the choice. Customize a button’s bezel color if necessary. Strive to design clear icons that stand on their own without supporting text. In the color picker dialog box you can simply click the color field and slide the shade bar as required. Buttons initiate app-specific actions, and can include an icon and a title. There are several color pickers around the web but today we are going to concentrate on the android color pickers. They can also be used as an artistic app for our use. Preview the colors as you select them and see the changing ex, RGB, HSV and HSL values as you use the color picker. We normally use a color picker to customize the theme in an app or user interface to our preferred taste. Pick a color with the color selector and see the equivalent Hex, RGB, HSV and HSL values for that color.

I'm looking for a way to easily pick a color from anywhere on the screen in Mac OS X and get the value as a hex code (like #ACC782 ).OS X has a built in system "color picker" and I found a standalone "app" that will just run that, but I don't see any way to get the hex code from it.Firefox and Chrome both have "color picker" extensions but I'm looking for something that I can use on any application.What can I use for that?
