Versions of Photomatix Pro in parallel? Yes, as long as you install each version in a separate folder.^ Has your website been impacted by Heartbleed, and if so, was it patched? The servers associated with the HDRsoft.com website were all running versions of OpenSSL that aren't affected by Heartbleed. So, our website is not impacted by Heatbleed and all information you provided to us is safe. ^ Is there any chance you will release a Linux version of Photomatix? Yes. We are currently working on a Photomatix for Linux program that includes several of the features of Photomatix Pro. In the meantime, it is possible to run the Windows version of Photomatix Pro under Linux through Wine. This requires, however, that you install the .NET framework under Wine. The instructions to install Wine and the .NET framework under Fedora and Ubuntu are detailed here.In case you don't mind using the command line and already own a license of our software for Windows or Mac, there is native Linux build of the command line version of Photomatix Pro available upon request.--> Is there a Photomatix app for the iPad? While Photomatix is not available as an iPad app at the moment, a Photomatix for iPad app is in the works. The iPad app won't have all features available in Photomatix Pro, though, at least not in its first version. Things like Selective Deghosting, Batch Processing or the Brush Tool won't yet be part of it. In any case, we are very interested to hear what features you would be looking for when using Photomatix on an iPad. So, please feel free to share with us any suggestions or ideas for an edition of Photomatix that runs on the iPad. You are welcome to submit your suggestions using the Technical Support Form, with 'Suggestions / Feature Request' selected for the type of query.

Back in 2019, developer axi0mX made history when they released the fully working, unpatchable checkm8 BootROM exploit for iPhone X and older, which at that time was an impressive feat. To be honest, it’s impressive even to this day, as there are still more devices vulnerable to checkm8 exploit than are devices that aren’t vulnerable. This very powerful BootROM exploit allowed developers in the jailbreak community to build powerful jailbreaks and tools that haven’t been seen in the community since GeoHot dropped the limera1n BootROM exploit back on iPhone 4.Thanks to the checkm8 exploit, the community was able to develop the CheckRa1n Jailbreak which is one of the most stable, most powerful jailbreaks released in the modern days of iOS. CheckRa1n supports iOS 12.0 all the way up to iOS 14.8. It comes with Cydia and runs tweaks and themes. There was only one issue – CheckRa1n was only available for macOS and Linux. This is where iRemovalRa1n Pro comes in handy. What is iRemovalRa1n Jailbreak? The iRemovalRa1n Pro jailbreak is essentially a copy of the checkra1n jailbreak ported over to run natively on Windows. Compared to checkra1n for macOS and Linux, this tool was not developed by the CheckRa1n team.It was developed by @iremovalpro, although developer Siguza of the CheckRa1n team knew about the project and allegedly gave them the OK to release it but under a different name than checkra1n.Normally, the checkra1n team announced a Windows port of checkra1n a while ago, but it looks like they got stuck on the drivers aspect of checkra1n on Windows a few years ago and never completed the project. To this date, iRemovalRa1n is the only checkra1n clone to work on Windows natively without having to boot a Linux environment.iRemovalRa1n Pro runs like a normal Windows program and can detect the device and jailbreak it directly from Windows, no need to reboot to Linux or a different OS (like checkn1x used to do). The interface of iRemovalRa1n is basically a clone of checkra1n with just some text changed, so if you know how to use checkra1n on Linux or macOS, the same applies to iRemovalRa1n.What devices can you jailbreak with iRemovalRa1n?Since this is a checkra1n jailbreak port/clone, it supports the same devices that checkra1n supports. Basically, iPhone X and older are all supported, while newer devices are not supported. Here are some of the supported devices:iPhoneiPhone XiPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 6SiPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6iPhone 5SiPod TouchiPod Touch 7th GenerationiPod Touch 6th GenerationiPadiPad (2019, 7th Generation)iPad (2018, 6th Generation)iPad Pro 10.5″ (2017)iPad Pro 12.9″ 2nd Generation (2017)iPad (2017) 5th GenerationiPad Air 2iPad (4th Generation)iPad Mini 4, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 2, iPad

Hi, kinda lengthy question here. My dad currently is using an old first or second gen iPad. However, since it is not compatible with iOS 11 and further, it cannot run apps like the ESPN app, the Weather Channel app, or Youtube. Now, in research, I found that linux can run android apps via Anbox. I also found a version of linux on an ipad, iSH, which runs Alpine Linux on the tablet. So, thinking about it, I formed a plan to convert his tablet to linux. (keep in mind, I'm kind of new to linux, so some things may be incorrect) 1. Install iSH on tablet 2. Find some way to make Alpine main OS instead of iOS 3. Install a mobile/tablet-based GUI 4. Install AnBox 5. Install necessary Android apps However, as I have stated above, I am a newbie to Linux, so I have a few questions... When you download iSH, does it really download Alpine onto the tablet? Or is it connecting to some server? If it really is downloading Alpine, would I able to somehow be able to make the iPad boot straight to Alpine? Or would I have to run everything in the app? If everything is running in the app, and I were to a GUI and multiple applications on Linux, would that cause the tablet to run choppy (even if I had all other iOS apps uninstalled)? If I'm able to somehow boot straight to Alpine, would I still have someway to use an on-screen/external keyboard, or would I essentially brick it? Are there any good mobile/tablet-centered GUI's compatible for Linux (or one that would work well with a mobile device)? Thanks to anyone and everyone that helps!
