However, there is a lot of COM out there, and within our company, a lot of business logic is coded into COM classes that can only execute on an STA thread. To be able to call these classes from any thread in .NET, I decided to code a custom STA thread synchronization context. The cartoony styling is very Hot Wheels ish, and the game doesn't take itself seriously in the slightest. This is a pure arcade racer that's easy for anyone at any age to pick up and play without too much difficulty. And once I accepted those things, and plugged in my classic controller instead of using the Wii remote by itself... I actually started to have fun.And no the game doesn't make sense, for example a Tesla roadster is incapable of being equipped with a nitrous oxide system, and a 30hp air-cooled VW Bus is not capable of going 130mph. Some of the levels are insanely hard, right next to levels that are super easy. And as I mentioned before, the first couple hours are painful.
