You want to continue to earn certain achievements.How is C a cop out? There were times I wanted to kill Trevor too, but I hated being Haines' and Westin's unpaid lackey even more. It made sense. Franklin kills Trevor? He satisfies Haines, but pisses of Westin for not killing Michael and vice versa. Franklin's fucked either way if he goes A or B. C is the only way to get out clean and mop up all loose ends. If anything doesn't make sense, it's that they didn't kill Haines and Westin sooner for not paying them for all the jobs and of course for Haines turning on Michael and Westin threatening his family. Ending C makes the most sense for Franklin's character, especially after the Lamar Down mission.
