If you are also installing sound files, please see this page for the differences between Garmin units that support .mp3 files and those that use .wav files. It makes no sense to convert GPX files to CSV files, as you lose any extension fields such as phone number that can be dialed if your device accepts a bluetooth phone. Another advantave of GPS files is that you can load GPX files into MapSource to use as Waypoints for routes, if your GPS accepts routes.floridaWMA.gpx is NOT a POI file, so POI Loader cannot compile it. floridaWMA.gpx is a series of tracks. Recommended Posts I have used GSAK and Nuvi GPS for years. The Nuvi died and is no longer available. I bought a DriveSmart and discovered that that GPS will not accept the GPS data. Will the Garmin RV795 accept and display geocaches? Quote I have an older Garmin Drive Smart unit and I use GSAK to load caches on to it. However, I just don’t load them directly onto the Garmin. I use Garmin POI Loader that interfaces with GSAK by way of a macro available on the GSAK site. The geocaches are loaded as “points of interest” rather than “favorites”.
