If so you can buy this connector.I got mine last week and was able to follow the instructions on the other thread to download and install the Forscan program.You can also use tablets and smartphones with other connectors, but I liked the idea of using my laptop since it is less expensive and easy to use.If you go to the last tab of the spreadsheet in the other thread it talks you through downloading the Forscan program and how to get into the program to make changes. I was pretty nervous initially and I’m somewhat computer literate. It’s a little unnerving to think you could screw up your nice new truck. But I read through the instructions a couple times and then made one mod (honk delete when taking the key fob out of a running truck) just to see if it worked. It worked perfectly so I made several more. Will probably make a couple more this weekend. Over the weekend, I spent some time with forscan to make some modifications to my 2022 F350 Platinum. I was reading a different thread on enabling OCR and in that thread a few of the users mentioned that they monitored the exhaust gas temps, and one posted a picture of something showing it. They also mentioned that they new when they were in a regen process, while driving. My question is how are they doing that? Is it with the Bluetooth adaptor for Forscan and they are able to view that in Forscan lite on their mobile device? Any guidance is appreciated. First I need recommendations on what all I need to purchase in order to get started. Also please chime in with any helpful tips that could help us newbies. I have looked at some of the other threads on here regarding forscan, but they are a little overwhelming for the beginner. Its really quite easy...my first adjustments (did 5x different changes) and it took no more than 20 mins start to finish.
