I have used this a few months ago and it didn't contain any type of adware or homepage changers then. Hopefully not at present either. Not sure about it calling home. The speed was great. VEVO channels stream their content from different servers, They don't use traditional Google/Youtube servers which is why some converters don't support it / have issues downloading. While it is dependent on your connection I seem to see that there are some instances that Eagleget (portable)has crashed on me. No crashes since 2007 with FDM.
