Own photos stored somewhere safe... if our computer goes down, then I have all my photographs stored already on CD. This also applies to copies of photos taken before digital cameras came in. Scanned the originals or the negatives of the originals and copied to CD. Easy to store, safe, and the colours don't fade.Highly recommend that everyone does this. Posted ages ago. Easier to use....I am now downloading all my photos from Flickr and going to move them to Picasa. They give you 1GB space. Just an alternative.....and YES, you can download to your PC to a CD!
