Computer using too much memory

I'm using Windows 10 Pro version 1703 build 15063.296 in Bootcamp on a Macbook Pro '15. This setup has been running fine for two years until the last big Windows 10 update. Now I'm constantly getting out of memory errors. The laptop has 16GB of RAM which is never close to full. The committed memory though is maxing out. When I check to see what program is using a high amount of committed memory in Resource Monitor, everything is pretty low, usually less than 500MB. Windows will say Firefox or Chrome is using too much memory, but I can't find any evidence of this with Task Manager, Resource Monitor or Process Explorer. How can I find what is actually using up all the committed memory and crashing my computer? Here are some screenshots of the process list while the commit charge is extremely high. I open Google Chrome...and it's using 170 MB memory to run. I open Opera...and it's using 900 GB to run. Why? My icon turns red, for heaven's sake. Part of the reason was that stupid GX corner tab. I turned everything off, and that helped. It was at 1,200 GB before I did that. WHY does the Opera browser now use far more memory than any other browser and task...and I mean far more? A browser should not be using that much memory to run. Google Chrome has 7 tasks running at once....but Opera has 25?..no...sorry...30!? CPU processing power your computer is currently using and has been using over time. The Memory and Physical Memory Usage History boxes display the amount of memory that is being used and how much has been used over time. Networking Tab The Networking tab allows you to have a general idea of how much traffic is flowing over a particular network interface on your computer.
