Question I need help understanding my Cinebench scores ? Thread starter Thread starter TheInfamousG Start date Start date Jan 26, 2024 You are using an out of date browser. It may not display this or other websites correctly. You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. #1 Hi guys, I just built my first PC and tonight I downloaded Cinebench to benchmark my new system for the first time. I am not fluent in all of this techy language, and some of the things I am reading online are scaring me I am running Cinebench 2024, and my CPU is an i7 13700k while my GPU is a 7900 XT.My GPU score was 13,532My CPU Multi Core score was 1,575My CPU Single Core score was 116Can someone please help me understand what this means? I read on Reddit that some people have Multi Core scores over 7,000 so is mine drastically underperforming or am I looking at something else? Thanks so much!-EDIT-I now realize my mistake which was that I was using Cinebench 2024 instead of Cinebench R23. I redid my Multi Core test with Cinebench R23 and my score was 28,783. Is this a score good for my current specs? Last edited: Jan 26, 2024 Dec 28, 2014 143 31 18,690 #2 I now realize my mistake which was that I was using Cinebench 2024 instead of Cinebench R23. I redid my Multi Core test with Cinebench R23 and my score was 28,783. Is this a score good for my current specs? I'd say that score is in the range of normal for an i7 13700k on Cinebench R23. Reviews hang at around 31000 plus minus a little, some closer to 30000. Take into account not cranking your fans to 100% and not in an open air test bench, I'd say ~29000 is fine, and any real world use difference would be negligible. That difference could also happen from particularly slow ram, or running 4 sticks rather than dual channel.
