To improve dynamic range, I'd killed the atmosphere and feel of the scene. It actually needed the contrast to work. I'd sort of flattened the life out of them.I want to test something when I get back to my computer - I've been following the discussion about exposing for blinkies and RAW with interest and I think I learnt something when taking those screengrabs, so I'll come back to it later. All those tools in fastviewer, are only only available, after the horse has bolted. And you're sitting in front of your computer hours or days later.
