BeSweet v1.5b17 and BeSweetGUI v0.5b83You also need a file called ac3enc.dll v0.2 by Gerard Lantau & Dg. (45,056 bytes) There are many versions of this file out there. I found only this file worked for me.Please note... all this software is free. Look on the internet, and you can find it. Once you got all the software needed, follow these instructions.To convert 6 mono wav files to a 5.1 AC3 file.-----------------------------------------------Make your 6 WAV files...Make sure your files are MONO (stereo will crash the encode.)Make sure your files are all 48000HZ. Anything else will give you errors on the encode.You need to first make a TEXT file with a ".MUX" ending.So for example you can make a file called "6WAVES.MUX"Inside that file you list the pathes and filenames of the 6 wav files.IE: your text file should contain the following...----------------g:\channelFL.wavg:\channelFR.wavg:\channelC.wavg:\channelLFE.wavg:\channelSL.wavg:\channelSR.wavMake sure you list the files in that order.Run BeSweet gui.FROM THE main window.......1..For your input file... select the MUX file you just made.2..In the AC3ENC drop down box, select AC3.3..Click the "AC3 & OGG" tab. Which equals $1170 ! Is there no shareware or freeware or about$100ware that will do this? Член pretty stupid price ... they are insane to charge that much .. you can use latest besweet w/ gui - though there is some issue of compatability .. (free though) you can buy vegas +ac3 pack for about 500$ or vegas plus DVDA for about 600$ and you get extremly good ac3 encoder (including dolby EX) plus a great NLE for audio and video calkwalk sonar w/ ac3 ... ulead with ac3 plug in pack .. no 100$ effort (dolby lic alone is about 75$ of the wholesale amount) ... how is that new NUENDO version --- old was kinda buggy i see on thier forums .. lot of people switched to sonar .. or went the expensive protools route ... You might want to call up a local company who does DVD authoring and inquire if they do the AC3 encode for you. Most of them use highend stuff and can do 5.1AC-3 encoding. They should be able to run you off a 5.1AC-3 file fairly cheaply.....as it is a quick and easy thing to do.
