Is it safe to uninstall 3.0.6? Seems strange that it was a side by side update, not overwrite/cumulative. Was that intentional? In the folder "Cakewalk Content" I now have two identical sub folders - "Cakewalk Core" and "Sonar Platinum". Is it safe to delete one of these? Name reasons. Will that upset continuity with my Cakewalk software? Not that I'm at all sure if there's anything left over from my Sonar Platinum lifetime deal, but if there is I don't want to lose it. That way they can transfer over all you Cakewalk stuff to your BandLab account. I guess if you have any problems like not having access to your old Cakewalk email or any other issues you should contact BandLab support and to see if it can be sorted out. One other thing, I noticed bandlab assistant stays running when the program is not being used, is there a way to disable this? Grundberg- I am a platinum owner, AD2 crossed over just fine. Problem is I can’t remember if I bought it years ago once using it free in splat or not. I know I bought kits and sounds long the way. Hope that helps. [4/4/2018] 2018/05/09 15:39:35 (permalink) I just figured that those exe files had to be somewhere, if not hidden.In my case, BandLab Assistant downloaded the files and placed them in the following: C:\users\myname\appdate\roaming\bandlab assistant\downloads. After an exhaustive search for those elusive files, that is where I found them. Since it was a real challenge for me to get the assistant to work for a couple of weeks, I took the precaution of copying those exe files to a backup folder, just in case. Now, that is my scenario and may not be others. dunno.
