Over time Baldi will speed up, but each time you successfully solve the problems in a notebook he'll slow down. The longer you can keep his speed down, the more notebooks you can collect!This is an official port of the original game, with touch screen controls! Check out the options menu to adjust them to your liking!Gameplay Baldi greeting the player. At the start of the game, Baldi appears, greeting and waving to the player. As the player goes to a classroom to collect the first notebook, a You Can Think Pad showing a set of three math problems presented by Baldi will appear on the screen with a black background. In the first set of math problems, everything is normal. However, when the player obtains the second notebook, the third and final question is replaced by an unintelligible string of numbers, and Baldi's voice will become glitched when reading out the question. This question has no correct answer and replaces all final questions from the second notebook onward.When the player gets their first math problem wrong, Baldi will chase the player by slapping a ruler on his hand. At this point, the other characters will appear, indicating that "Spoop mode" has been activated. The more math problems the player answers incorrectly, the faster Baldi will slap and move.Once the player finds all 7 notebooks, Baldi will seem to congratulate the player before he screams "GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!", followed by a laugh. For 99 seconds.There are some items, such as the Principal's Keys, the Portal Poster, and the Dangerous Teleporter that can be used to escape detention. The player can also get out through a window if it has been smashed by 1st Prize earlier on. However, the longer the detention time is, the riskier this is to do because if the Principal catches the player escaping detention, they will get sent back to his office with a longer waiting time.Being put into detention attracts Baldi and Dr. Reflex (if he is angry) to the center of the Principal's office and resets their sound queue. This will cause them to go towards the Principal's office even if other noises played before detention. However, there are a few ways to prevent from Baldi and Dr. Reflex from being attracted to this location:A sound with higher noise value than 95 (such as the Alarm Clock) playing after the player gets detention.The player using WD-NoSquee to the Principal's office, so Baldi and Dr. Reflex will not hear that the player gets detention. However, they may enter this location while wandering around.The player uses Baldi's Least Favorite Tape to the tape player or Quarter to the pay phone. This will override Baldi and Dr. Reflex's hearing and make them forget that the player is in detention and make them flee from the noise.If Baldi is about to enter the Principal's office, the player can use Dirty Chalk Eraser to hide from him.As such, getting a 45-second (or longer) detention is an almost guaranteed game over without these items or a distraction, as it will take too long for the timer to hit 0 seconds before Baldi enters the Principal's office and catches the player.Principal of the Thing can actually help the player at certain times.
