I have updated and reinstalled the software to no effect. Going in to the view panel displays no options for me to even select a viewcube (please see attached image). I have tried the NAVVCUBE and Cube commands and each time I get the "unknown command" feedback. I have my navigation bar which works fine. However I also am missing my 3d modelling option. Whether by right clicking and going to options (see image 2) or by going to the workspaces tab there are no options for 3d modelling which I suspect might be tied together. Own workspaces. Don't be afraid to experiment and find what works best for you.The easiest way to access to the customize menu is by right clicking on the quick access toolbar which is at the top left corner of the screen and then selecting customize. Here you'll be able to add or remove tools as you see fit.Practice RegularlyLike any skill, the more you practice AutoCAD, the better you'll get. Try drawing different things, experiment with commands, and don't be afraid to make mistakes. I sometimes find myself just doodling in AutoCAD, and it really does help to improve my speed and familiarity with the software.Common Mistakes to AvoidNot Using LayersOne of the biggest mistakes beginners make is not using layers. Layers help keep your drawing organized and make it easier to work with complex designs. Trust me, you don't want to end up with a drawing that has thousands of objects all on one layer. It's a nightmare to edit.Ignoring UnitsAnother common mistake is ignoring units. AutoCAD lets you set the units for your drawing, which is crucial for accuracy. Whether you're working in inches, feet, or meters, make sure your units are set correctly before you start drawing.I've made this mistake before—drawing an entire floor plan in inches instead of feet. It was a mess. So learn from my mistakes, always check your units!Forgetting to SaveThis might seem obvious, but it's easy to forget to save your work. AutoCAD has an autosave feature, but it's not foolproof. Get in the habit of saving your drawing regularly to avoid losing your progress.Real-World ExamplesArchitectural Floor PlanLet's walk through creating a simple architectural floor plan. This will give you a chance to practice many of the commands we've discussed. Start by setting your units to feet and inches. Each Terraform configuration has an associated backend that defines how Terraform executes operations and where Terraform stores persistent data, like state. The persistent data stored in the backend belongs to a workspace. The backend initially has only one workspace containing one Terraform state associated with that configuration. Some backends support multiple named workspaces, allowing multiple states to be associated with a single configuration. The configuration still has only one backend, but you can deploy multiple distinct instances of that configuration without configuring a new backend or changing authenticationcredentials.Note: The Terraform CLI workspaces are different from workspaces in HCP Terraform. Refer to Connect to HCP Terraform for details about migrating a configuration with multiple workspaces to HCP Terraform. You can use multiple workspaces with the following backends:AzureRMConsulCOSGCSKubernetesLocalOSSPostgresRemoteS3Important: Workspaces are not appropriate for system decomposition or deployments requiring separate credentials and access controls. Refer to Use Cases in the Terraform CLI documentation for details and recommended alternatives.Terraform starts with a single, default workspace named default that you cannot delete. If you have not created a new workspace, you are using the default workspace in your Terraform working directory. When you run terraform plan in a new workspace, Terraform does not access existing resources in other workspaces. These resources still physically exist, but you must switch workspaces to manage them.Refer to the Terraform CLI workspaces documentation for full details about how to create and use workspaces.Within your Terraform configuration, you may include the name of the currentworkspace using the ${terraform.workspace} interpolation sequence. This canbe used anywhere interpolations are allowed.Referencing the current workspace is useful for changing behavior basedon the workspace. For example, for non-default workspaces, it may be usefulto spin up smaller cluster sizes. For example:resource "aws_instance" "example" { count = terraform.workspace == "default" ? 5 : 1 # ... other arguments}Another popular use case isComments
