The load. It's basically garbage with me being disconnected 15 times in a 1 hour session.I cannot afford some crazy $700+ license right now and it seems nobody has a good monthly rate either.I just support 1 client at a time for upto 2 hours when I go in remotely.Ideas? I use Logmein. I guess its expensive but its reliable and has great features. I never get disconnected and the app rarely crashes. I was able to get 50 seats for $1500ish annually. You can also install it on servers.The only thing I dont like is its a proactive program only. Hard to walk new clients through install. I use logmein rescue for those. Otherwise its perfect for clients you have on retainer. #19 I used ChunkVNC for a while, when I was running a business out of my house. It was great, brand-able, easy to set up for multiple techs, had reboot and reconnect in safe mode, and it was free. Was written in AutoIT language, if I remember right, and was easy to modify. The only thing was, I had to have a repeater set up, I used a perl script on my Linux server, which would tell me connection codes of anyone connected to my repeater. Been using it for years and has never let me down. I like that I can PAYG it, rather than having to pay a subscription fee that I may or may not get value from . I think it costs us about $7 a sess, but thats variable price depending on how many you go through and at what rate. interface for end-users is pretty straightforward too #7 I've been using Ammy Admin as my main remote support app and have never had disconnection issues. It works great for me, except on a particular HP AIO where the screen resolution only lets me see a chunk of it and I can't scroll/slide to see more. In that one case, I use Techinline, which works great, but I really prefer Ammy. The Techinline price is $5.95/session for a block of 20 sessions now, where it was $3/session for a block of 20 sessions when I bought my last batch. I have been using Ammyy and have only had a couple drop offs, I've been looking for one with more features like a customizable host app, but cant justify the big $$$. I came across news that "Remote Utilities" was now free and I've been playing around with it. No, unfortunately they don't offer that feature. #17 I use Citrix GotoAssist as it supports both my Windows & OSX clients with ease.
