On the fuze. I'll go back and try again in MSC and create and download some playlists to see what happens. In MSC mode, the paths in m3u playlists must be relative to the location of the playlist. MM has a "use relative paths" checkbox somewhere in the syncing options. Make sure it's checked. In other words, if you have a folder structure like:\MUSIC\\\.mp3 A playlist in the \MUSIC folder should contain paths that look like:\\.mp3 Otherwise the Fuze can't resolve the path and you get the empty playlist problem. I am using MM 3.0.6.When I create a playlist, MM places it in the \playlists directory on the Fuze. The file names in the playlist are fully qualified. I.e, they begin with \MUSIC\, \Podcasts\, or \Audiobook\ depending on where the track is located. (I am trying to create a single playlist that refers to tracks from music, podcast, and audiobook directories.)What should the file names in the .m3u file look like, and where should the .m3u file be located? I'd appreciate a sample of how the file names are formatted so I can test it myself by editing the playlist file and at least convince myself that the Fuze will create a non-empty playlist if the file is formatted to the Fuze's requirements.Thanks! I dragged some podcasts and some podcasts and some other mp3 files into the playlist. In the Auto-Sync options, I checked the playlist name. Then I synchronized the Fuze.The Playlist name was created on the Fuze, but it has no tracks and shows as [Empty]. The podcast mp3 files were moved to the Fuze and I can find them by searching through the podcasts. These files are not recent, so the normal podcast selection of "n most recent" would not have picked up these files. Try putting the fuze in MTP mode. I can get everything over to the fuze correctly this way but in MSC mode there are playlist pathname issues you have to know about.
