I posted how to intall HTPC Manager on Windows yesterday and today it's Linux's turn. I mentioned I was waiting for HTPC manager to support Sonarr, SickRage and Headphones before creating guides for it. You can all thank Hellowlol for upgrading HTPC Manager for 2015. Raspberry Pi 2 and related devices have become quite popular NAS home media servers. I have previously released images that are already loaded with the standard services like Plex, NZBGet, SickRage, Sonarr, CouchPotato and Transmission.I realize some people may want to pick and choose which services are installed so I forked Igor's debian micro server script and adapted it to include many media server goodies – dubbed the HTPC Guides Media Server Installer. I have provided a free image at the bottom of this post which has a Minibian base and the media server installer pre-installed for your convenience. Following steps in the RasPlex Setup Wizard:Select your regional settings (most likely 'English' if you are reading this!)Setup networking - you will need to select you wireless network and login. Wired networks should not need any configuration. If all is working well, you should be assigned an IP address by your router or DHCP serverCalibrate your screen - You will be asked to setup the corners, subtitle location, etc.Login to your 'My Plex'. You will be asked to use your computer (or any device with a web browser really) to navigate to plex.tv/pin and input you pin and connect.Pre-caching - you will be asked to 'pre-cache' much of the meta data from your Plex server to improve performance. You will need to reboot after install is complete for this to take effect.RasPlex Setup WizardThat's it! You're done! Your RasPlex installation is complete and you can now enjoy all your media from the compact and relatively cheap Raspberry Pi!
