You can send waypoints (saved locations) and routes (courses) to your Instinct using the Garmin Explore app (and vice versa). First import gpx into BaseCamp an then sync with Instinct via Garmin Explore. i think the same way like my fenix.open a file browser like es-file-explorer and click on a gpx file.now select garmin connect. I do not use phone to communicate to Instinct, but I am sure Instinct does not use .gpx files, but .fit files. So no doubt you have to use some Garmin app to do it. .fix file is proprietary, unreadable (unlike .gpx ). ( I use connect.garmin.com website to convert my .gpx to .fit and then I download it over USB cable.) Not possible. And yes, its ridiculous.
